Transportation:
S-Bahn: stop - Karlsplatz
Underground/Subway: U4/U5 (stop - Karlsplatz, exit Lenbachplatz)
Tram: Tram 27 (stop - Ottostrasse) or Tram 19 (stop - Lenbachplatz)
The library is located on the right-side of the HM building at the corner of Karlstrasse and Ottostrasse. Entrance is on Level 01.
It is difficult to find parking near the library, so we highly encourage the use of public transportation.
Welcome to the Library
Most of the print collection is located on open shelving and comprised of approx. 55,000 books and approx. 100 current periodicals.
Collection supports the following departments:
- 01 Architecture - including Urban Planning and Interior Design
- 02 Civil Engineering - including Building Laws and Environmental Engineering
- 08 Geoinformatics - including Cartography, Geoscience, Applied Geodesy
Services:
- Self-checkout terminal for borrowing and returning library materials (only during opening hours)
- Locker system used for the return of library materials after opening hours
- Internet PCs with MS Office - only accessible with HM account login
- 2 scanners
- DIN Standards (online) (In German Only)
