There is regular Tram service from the Munich Hauptbahnhof to the University. Exit at the stop: 'Hochschule München'

  • Tram 20 – in the direction of Moosach Bf.

  • Tram 21 – in the direction of Westfriedhof

  • Tram 22 – in the direction of Hochschule München

From the stop, it is a short walk to the library, which is located on the right-side of Lothstrasse, in building '13d'. Please refer to the map.

Once in the building, take the stairs or lift to the 2nd Level.

Bus: #153 Bus has a service between the Ludwig-Maximilians University and Munich University of Applied Sciences

Most of the print collection is located on open shelving and comprised of more than 100,000 print materials, approx. 2585 current periodicals, an extensive textbook collection, and a growing theses collection representing many of the campus departments.

  • complete collection of DIN Standards and VDI Guidelines - online version (In German Only) (It is not possible to print or photocopy in the library, but MUAS members can print from home)
  • VDE Standards on a dedicated library computer - printing and downloading are prohibited
  • literature research through online databases
  • self-checkout terminals
  • printer/copier - Level 02, under the stairs
  • scanners - Level 03
  • Internet PCs with MS Office and other applications - only accessible with a MUAS account
